Christina & Jutta both certified trainers with over 30 years experience working with dogs will be teaching this course.

Our Basic Obedience course is 6 weeks long, and lots of fun.
For dogs 12 weeks and older with up to date copy of shot records.
The first class is an orientation with just the owners (no dogs).  When you arrive we will get registration out of the way and get to know each other and a little about why each of you are taking the class.  We will go over what we are going to cover in the class and what you will need to have with you.
There are 5 classes and graduation at the end of class five.  In those 5 weeks we will cover:
  • Basic commands  (sit, down, stay, come, leave it, take it, wait, loose leash walking, auto sit, and release)
  • Nutrition for your puppy or dog
  • Obstacles (jumps, weaving, around objects)
  • Massage (for relaxing, and conditioning for vet visits)
  • Grooming (getting used to brushes and touching)
  • Games (hide and seek, races, recall)
  • Jumps
  • Food luring
  • Watch me
  • Break
  • Hand signals
  • Distractions
And more on both a 6 foot and 15 foot training lead.

The time for each class is 1 hour but please remain flexable.  If we need more time to cover everything and make sure that everyone understands we will run over.  Cancelations due to weather will be rescheduled.
Graduation is a time for the group to show what they have learned and each will perform one trick. (roll over, through a hoop, jump, weave, ect).  Then each will get their certificate and a surprise treat.

Plus socialization for your canine friend and a chance to meet other dog lovers in the area.  Come join us and you both can make some new friends and have a great time together.

Basic Obedience is $70 per dog ($65 for a second dog) per course.
