Housetraining
* Go to the same door each time.
* Put on puppy’s leash and ask in excited voice “Do you need to go out? Do you need to Potty??”
* Increase times if/when the puppy starts having longer periods of time he displays bladder/bowel control.
* Watch carefully for indication of impending accidents or beginning of accident.   IE: sniffing, circling, squatting.  (Take him out immediately!)
* Watch for puppy going to the “Potty” door.
* GO OUT with puppy each time. Praise when he goes, and repeat the “Go potty” command while he is going.
* Leave food down for puppy for 15 minutes, then pick up (DO NOT LEAVE DOWN ALL THE TIME). This will
help regulate the bowels.
*Water goes in, water comes out. Regulate puppy’s water. Pick up 2 hours before bedtime.

*NO FREE LUNCH POLICY: Puppy does not get anything with out doing something you want from it first!

Jumping

If you won't want your dog to jump up on people when he's bigger, don't let him do it as a little puppy. A small dog that jumps up can be a big problem for children, and a major annoyance for adults.
NEVER knee, or push your puppy away.  This can hurt him, and also the puppy sees this as a game.  Your puppy (or dog) is jumping to get your attention.  So simply put if you don't want him to jump, ignore this behavior.  Cross your arms, look up towards the sky, and turn your back.  Soon your puppy will understand that jumping doesn't get him the attention he wants.
When your puppy has all 4 paws on the floor calmly praise for this behavior.  Be careful.  The  last thing you want to do with a puppy who jumps is get him excited.  Praise should be done calmly.
